quote 32 Last week I mentioned that I'm working on launching a print shop (woo hoo!). I also mentioned that I've been thinking/waiting to do it for nearly one year. What have I been waiting for? I don't know but I sure do love this quote for kicking my butt into action. Let's do this thang!

quote 29 Hello! I hope you've had a good start to the week. I spent mine traveling across too many timezones and it is so nice to finally be home. I already miss my family and friends but there's nothing like the butterflies I felt last night when Joe got home from work. All I could think was "reunited and it feels so goooood"…. those hugs will go down in history fo sho.

Today is back to reality with unpacking and re-settling in. I realized that I have a laundry list of projects to catch up with (and kick start) so I'm going to take this week off from the blog.  The plan is to be back on Monday feeling fully refreshed because really, there's only so much a girl can do while jet lagged ;)

See ya next week, have a good one!

Quote 26My sister told me that last week my niece, Juliana, was dreaming up rainbows and mentioned that she wanted to see one. My sister replied with "we'll have to wait until the rainy season, it's too hot right now." The next day, it rained and Juliana got her rainbow. At just two years old, Juliana might understand the power of positivity or rather ask and you shall receive.  She's  rarely on the other side of the fence and if slides towards negativity, she immediately picks herself up by saying "all better" or "it's okay". She's one smart and adorable little cookie.

Quote 24 Hi guys, we're back from Vietnam! What an incredible four days of rest, relaxation and eating well. We both returned with painful sunburns but it's a small price to pay for a weekend in paradise ... consider our honeymoon done and done! I've got a ton of work to get back to so a full recap with photos will have to wait until next week. Until then here are some teaser snaps from my phone using vsco cam and instagram. Paradise, right?

Quote 21 It's August 1st and I didn't finish all of my July goals - shame on me. At first I was really upset with myself but then I got online and saw yesterday's quote on Howdy Day!. The moments I chose to cuddle with Joe over working in solitude with my laptop or went out to explore something new instead of drafting personal projects at home, those are the moments that true living is all about. I'm good at knowing when I have the wiggle room to play and relax but I'm equally good at beating myself up if the wiggling exceeds its intended time limit. It's a difficult balance when your home is your office but the good thing is that things do get done and the world doesn't end. If the wiggle-guilt ever crawls back I'll just remember that this quote gives me permission to live a little...or a lot.
